(By signing your name when submitting a quote, you are thereby agreeing you have read and understand all aspects of the TOS)
Take it all in! Please pay close attention to bold text.
-Please be aware of your financial situation before commissioning.
-Wild Works does not offer moving jaws on mascot heads or bases.
-Please do not ask for anything free -- nothing is free unless stated otherwise.
-WIld Works does not accept any work with a deadline.
-Wild Works is NOT responsible for any allergic reactions to materials used in production.
-Wild Works is not responsible for the loss or damage of items during shipping. All items are shipped priority, insured, and with tracking.
How long will production be?
Depending on how large the project queue is and how quickly the project is paid off, it could take between a month to several months depending on how many costumes are being worked on at once, from start to finish. Be prepared for a waiting period of 2-12 Months. Estimated completion times are not guaranteed.
Do not ask for "rush orders" or impose a completion date. Mascots are a luxury item. These costumes are works of art and an artist cannot be rushed. This could hinder creativity and overall quality of work/speed of service. I ask you to be as kind and patient as possible! This makes for a more pleasant experience between commissioner and artist.
Cancellation, Refund and Return Policies
Once a down payment has been made, or the project is fully paid off, you cannot back out. This would incur a loss on my part for materials purchased specific to the commission. If the commissioner refuses to continue with said commission, they may sell their spot on the queue. Otherwise, no refund will be issued and they will be marked for the black list. Please be aware of your financial situation before commissioning.
I do not accept returns after 30 days. No exceptions. If the item is altered in any way, I will not issue a refund. However, if any issues with the item occur under the stated time period, immediately contact me and I will either issue you a refund of your down payment, or solve the problem in another manner. To receive the refund you must return the item, then you will receive the down payment refund.
Payment is to be made on a monthly basis. If a payment cannot be met your spot on the queue will be sold.
Full payment is preferred, but I do offer a half-down payment option. The commissioner pays half of the total commission up front, then a minimum payment $100.00 per month until the project is fully paid off. All payments can be made by PayPal or money order.
Production of the costume WILL NOT start until the commission is fully paid off.
I will not change the course of design while the project is underway. During production should you ask to make drastic changes to character design, species, color, material type, etc., you will be immediately directed back to the TOS (Terms of Service) page, and the previous project agreement will continue. Subtle/minimal changes are okay, and I will accommodate your requests based on production progress.
In order to reserve a spot on the queue, you must pay down 50% of the original price. After payment, you will be added to the queue. All work in progress, or WIP, information will be uploaded and updated periodically on Trello. Reservation and commission back-outs: you WILL be black-listed. Always have payment upfront and ready!
United States and Canada is preferred, but we will ship internationally if an agent or middleman is available.
Can I wash my costume?
Bodysuits can be washed in the washing machine or in a bathtub with light detergent, and dried on the "air dry" setting of your dryer, hung out to dry, or allowed to dry naturally while brushing periodically to avoid matting and curl. NO heat. Mascot heads should be washed in a pillow case if machine washed. If you don't feel comfortable with machine washing, it isn't always necessary. Spot-washing with a damp cloth and upholstery cleaner is just fine!
Head or parts won't fit in your washing machine? Wash them in a bathtub with a light detergent with no solvents. Always read the labels to make sure!
If you can't/won't wash your costume with these methods, then use disinfectant spray, in and out of the costume, let air-dry. I am not responsible for discoloration, shrinking, wrinkling, tears, torn seams, or any other defects that result in improper washing.
DTD information and commissioning for a fullsuit
When ordering a fullsuit, please use coveralls while creating your duct tape dummy. A good DTD will contribute to making a great bodysuit. Also, loosely fitted bodies last longer and make performance easier. All bodies are made between 2-4 sizes larger than the DTD, but depends on body type. I am not responsible for incorrect sizing and fitting.
